Superb Parrot 8/8/2008 Warwick Karen Foster We first noticed this rare little visitor in our feeders Friday morning. It looks to be female or a juvenile as it has not got the red thighs as yet. It is on its own so I am assuming it has got away from someone but it is quite aware and is not tame. I have taken many photos and it is just beautiful. I actually feel sad for it as it seems to need social interaction with other birds but is primarily alone.

Two males and one female turning around in circles and scratching in the undergrowth. Area they were found in had recently been lightly burnt.The two males were also sighted by another birder Tony Eales on the day and I have since learnt that Mike West managed to find them today the 15th.
