Bellis Rd, Clagiraba

Grey Goshawk, Lake Samsonvale, Qld. (Accipter novaehollandiae) © John McGill

Clagiraba is situated in the Gold Coast Hinterland. It combines bush and rainforest environments, and hosts many species uncommon to other areas of the Gold Coast and Brisbane, such as Grey Goshawk, White-bellied Cuckooshrike, Spectacled Monarch, Common Bronzewing and Wompoo Fruit-Dove.
Koalas are often spotted here too.

The walk is easy with unsealed paths, however, there are some minor slopes and there are two creek crossings (the council has installed proper stepping-stones).
There are no public toilets at this site. The closest publicly accessible toilets are approximately 10 minutes away.
