Queensland Ornithological Conference

Every other year, Birds Queensland and BirdLife Southern Queensland join forces to co-host the Queensland Ornithological Conference. This event brings together local and national experts and enthusiasts on Australian avifauna to share and discuss the latest bird research and conservation.

2022 Queensland Ornithological Conference

BirdLife Southern Queensland and Birds Queensland will host the 2022 Queensland Ornithological Conference at the Pullman & Mercure, King George Square, Brisbane City on Saturday, 6th August 2022.

The conference brings together local and national experts and enthusiasts on Australian avifauna to share and discuss the latest bird research and conservation. The 2022 conference theme is “Queensland Birds: Conservation Challenges and Opportunities”.

Abstracts are now open, and students are encouraged to present. Submission can be made by completing this Google Forms page
