Meeting and beginning at Cascades Gardens Park, Victoria Point (which has nearby public toilet facilities) we’ll traverse around the bush lined perimeter of the Victoria Point Water Treatment Plant which is adjacent to the Eprapah Creek and through into Cameron Court Park, which we will explore. Then crossing over the Eprapah Creek iron bridge and along to the bush and mangrove lined creek embankment. This is an easy there-and-back-again walk with typically between 40-50 bird species observed, depending on the weather and local flora conditions.

To beat the heat the walk will begin at 6.15am, so please ensure your arrival in plenty of time, and can typically take between 3-4 hours depending on bird activity. Insect repellent and sunscreen are highly recommended.

Directions.
The meeting site is beside Cascades Gardens Park and ample parking is available down the short road behind the park, the entrance of which is opposite the Victoria Point AFL Sharks Club building on Colburn Avenue, Victoria Point.
