This camping/caravan/glamping park covers a huge area on the shores of Lake Somerset. So the chance of a few water birds nearby is pretty good and we anticipate heading to a couple of spots better for the bush birds.  The itinerary is yet to be fine tuned.

Safari Tents…located overlooking the water. Open plan with one queen and one single bed plus a small fridge, tea and coffee, dining setting and use of shared amenities and camp kitchen. Saturday night $210; Sunday $133.

Powered Waterview Caravan Sites with nearby ensuite, wifi and two car allocation. Saturday night $65; Sunday $61, for 2 people. Extra $15 per extra person.

Powered Caravan Sites with glimpses of water, wifi and two car allocation. Saturday $59; Sunday $55.  Extra $15 per extra person.

Powered Caravan Site with wifi and one car allocation. Check this on the website!

Powered Site with wifi and 2 car allocation. Check this on the website!

Unpowered sites with wifi and 2 car allocation. Saturday $41; Sunday $38

All come with use of the barbeque areas, laundry, water etc.  Up to 6 people per site. There are numerous barbeque facilities on site.

When booking, please mention that you are with Birds Queensland so there is a chance of camping near someone you know.  Also…..and this is pretty important….. if you are a member of RACQ or NRMA, a 10% discount can be applied.

We plan to keep with tradition and have a shared festive meal on the Sunday evening. This has always been a great success and highlight of the weekend.  So please come prepared with something to share for our festive fare……. Meat, salad or something sweet.

Please let Helen or Penny know by email if you’re coming.  Thanks.
