Shelley Rd Park, Lake Manchester

The walk will commence at the entrance to Shelley Road Park, Lake Manchester Rd, Kholo QLD 4306 -27.491460, 152.743984. Take Lake Manchester Road from Mt Crosby, continue about 2km past the turn-off to Kholo Crossing. Continue approximately 200m past the entrance to Lake Manchester Reserve on the right. The entrance is on the left next to a large cleared and mown grassland.

There have been 200 species identified at this site. The walk is a grade 2 walk, all on well-formed vehicular tracks and approximately 4km in length. The walk will go through open grassland, past dams, along a creek valley. There may be a requirement to climb over a gate. There are no facilities. There is a picnic area and toilet facilities at Lake Manchester reserve a few minutes’ drive away.
