Cedar Grove Environmental Centre

Grade 1, but not suitable for wheelchairs or walking disabilities

Cedar Grove Environmental Centre offers an approximately 3km nice easy walk skirting a loop of the Logan River. Please see the below link for further Logan City Council information of this site.

The site has toilet facilities, good parking, some limited shaded seating and a drinking water fountain.

This area was once logged for native cedar and was then used for dairy farming, before being transitioned into this Environmental Centre.
A personal birding trip here in May 2026 revealed fifty-three bird species

GETTING THERE FROM BRISBANE;

Head south on the Mt Lindsay Highway, and approximately 4.5kms south of Jimboomba turn right onto Cedar Grove Road.

Follow Cedar Grove Road for approximately 8kms and turn right where signposted for the Cedar Grove Waste Water Treatment Plant and the Cedar Grove Environmental Centre, which is just beyond the Water Treatment Plant.

Please bring morning tea, a chair and sunscreen.
