COOLMUNDA CAMP 2026

Last year we did a mini twitch in this area and managed 82 species in 3 hours. Some of the birding highlights were Squatter Pigeon, Bluebonnets, White-winged Fairywren, and Latham’s Snipe. Greenup Meeting Place offers unpowered camping sites and some accommodation. There is a cafe on site. We can have dinner in the cafe on Saturday night, but we have to pre-book. Please let Col know 7 days in advance if you plan to dine in.

DIRECTIONS

From Warwick: Follow the Cunningham Highway from Warwick until you reach the Stanthorpe turnoff on the left. Cross the railway line and follow the road. You’ll pass over two bridges. Once you pass the second one keep going straight ahead and you will see the entrance to Greenup Meeting Place on your right.
