Kholo Gardens, Muirlea

Directions: From Brisbane, from the Ipswich Motorway,
take the Toowoomba turnoff (Warrego Highway 54) and after passing under the
Ipswich Mt Crosby Road , take the first exit into Holdsworth Road and turn right
into Waterworks Road passing over the Warrego Highway and then immediately turn
left into Riverside Road. Continue along Riverside Road for approx. 2.5km to
the entrance to the Kholo Gardens on the right.

Kholo Gardens is located on a bluff overlooking the Brisbane River. A network
of walking tracks allows exploration of the varied habitat and bird life, including
water birds, birds of vine forest/rainforest and of dry eucalyptus forest.

Kholo Gardens has full picnic facilities and toilets.

Kholo Gardens is conveniently close to Colleges Crossing which
provides an alternative route to the gardens through Mount Crosby.
